Jack Blakley – Vice President, Regulatory Affairs

Jack Blakley is vice president, regulatory affairs, Texas. Blakley is responsible for directing the regulatory policies of Entergy’s Texas-based utility operating company.  Since he joined Entergy Texas in 1999, he has also been very active in the regular biennial legislative sessions and governor-called special sessions in Texas.  Blakley is the company’s primary interface with the Public Utility Commission of Texas and other stakeholders involved in regulatory matters before the Commission.

Blakley, who is based in Austin, joined the company in 1979 and has held positions in regulatory, marketing and corporate planning and finance.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and marketing from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and a master of business administration from the University of Arkansas.
