Vernon Pierce – Director Customer Service, Entergy Texas, Inc.

Vernon Pierce has been the director of customer service for Entergy Texas, Inc. since December 2003. Pierce’s responsibilities include overseeing service to all customers -- industrial, commercial, and residential. Prior to that, he was resource manager in Texas, where, during weather-related emergencies, he coordinated storm restoration efforts.

Pierce started his full-time career with Entergy Mississippi in 1979, eventually working in various positions in Arkansas and Mississippi before coming to Texas in 1998.

Pierce graduated from Mississippi State University as a marketing major.
