Energy Efficiency Programs for Your Home

Effective January 1, 2002, Entergy Texas, Inc. began providing incentives to Energy Services Companies and other Energy Efficiency Service Providers for a wide variety of projects that improve the energy efficiency of residential, commercial and municipal customers. Entergy administers incentive programs in a market-based, non-discriminatory manner, and will ensure that all customers in all customer classes have a choice of, and access to, energy efficiency improvements to reduce energy consumption.

We offer four programs for residents of the Entergy Texas service area:

• Residential Standard Offer Program: Provides incentives for the installation of various measures that reduce energy costs, reduce peak demand and save energy in residential buildings.

• Hard-to-Reach Standard Offer Program: Designed to achieve a high level of energy and demand savings in the low-income residential sector by providing incentives for various energy efficiency measures.

• ENERGY STAR® Homes Program: A limited number of monetary incentives will be provided to builders for the construction of ENERGY STAR® homes in Entergy's service territory.

• Solar PV Pilot Program : Offers financial incentives to help offset the initial cost of installing a solar energy system.
