ENTERGY TEXAS COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS
PROGRAM EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Entergy Texas has developed the Commercial Solutions Program to offer select
commercial electric distribution customers both cash and non-cash incentives
for implementing energy efficiency improvements in 2009. These incentives will
be available for qualifying measures in new construction and retrofit
projects. Entergy Texas has hired CLEAResult Consulting, Inc. (CLEAResult) to
administer the program.
The Commercial Solutions Program is designed for commercial customers within
the Entergy Texas service territory. The program will provide direct support,
tools, and training necessary to assist customers in:

Identifying, evaluating, and undertaking energy efficiency improvement
projects

Understanding how to leverage their energy savings to finance projects
-
Reserving utility incentives for projects
The program is funded by Entergy Texas and is being offered at no cost
to participants. This is a voluntary program that offers objective,
third-party consulting on best practices in the areas of energy usage and
energy efficiency. It is important to note that no products or services are
sold through this Program.
Based on partner needs, the Program will provide customized energy efficiency
solutions for each partner using the following list/menu of options:

Technical Assistance to help identify and evaluate energy efficiency
opportunities as well as administrative program management.

Cash Incentives ($175 per kW and $0.05 per kWh) for new construction
and retrofit/renovation

Communication Support to help publicize community leadership and
accomplishments of the customer in the area of energy efficiency.
