2012 Governmental Agency Programs

Entergy Texas, Inc. is offering the 2012 Governmental Agency Programs (CitySmart^R) to provide support for governmental agencies through energy performance benchmarking, energy master planning, and cash incentives for agencies that complete projects resulting in peak demand savings.

The CitySmart program is available to provide governmental agencies monetary incentives to implement energy saving projects in existing and new facilities. The program is funded by Entergy and is available to governmental agencies at no cost. There is no intention to sell products or services through the CitySmart program.

We can provide some or any of the following based upon your project needs:

• Energy Performance Benchmarking for existing campuses.
• Energy Master Planning Workshops allow your financial and facilities. personnel to learn about industry best practices and determine where best to focus short and long term resources.
• Technical Assistance to help identify and evaluate energy efficiency opportunities.
• Cash Incentives ($200 per kW) are available for new construction and renovation projects you elect to implement that reduce peak demand.
• Communications Support to help publicize your leadership and accomplishments in energy efficiency.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are not attempting to sell products and services.

Specific steps will vary according to your project and your needs. Program incentives are limited and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
