Pay By Phone

In conjunction with vendor BillMatrix, Entergy offers a Pay by Phone option
for residential and small business customers. Using Pay by Phone, you may pay
your bill over the phone by credit card, debit card, or checking account.
The Pay by Phone option allows you to pay your utility bills 24 hours a day
with an electronic check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card and Debit Cards
showing the Star, Pulse, NYCE or Accel logos. While you will be paying your
account with Entergy, the full amount of the $2.95 fee is passed to BillMatrix
as the provider of this service. The payment option can be accessed by calling
BillMatrix’s direct number 1-800-584-1241.

To make a payment with a credit or ATM debit card, have the following
information ready:

Your account number and quick payment center number located on your Entergy
statement

The dollar amount you wish to pay

The credit or ATM debit number on the front of your card

Your security code located on the back of your credit card in the signature
strip. It is at least 3 digits and is always printed AFTER your credit card
number (see illustration).

Month/Year expiration date

Zip code where the card statement is mailed

By entering your card account information, you authorize your payment to be
processed electronically

Pen and paper to write down the confirmation number

To make a payment with a checking account, have the following information
ready:

Your account number and quick payment center number located on your Entergy
statement

The dollar amount you wish to pay

The routing number and checking account number. The routing number is the
9-digit identifier that is specific to your bank. It is located between two
symbols on the bottom left-hand side of the check. Your checking account
number immediately follows your bank’s routing number as the second set of
numbers (see illustration).

By entering your checking account information, you authorize your payment to
be processed electronically

Pen and paper to write down the confirmation number

All payments made from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. will be posted immediately to your
account; full payments within that time will automatically generate a
reconnect order or stops disconnect order, if needed. For payments made after
7 p.m., the payment will be posted the next business day.
