Tree Trimming

Customer Requests

You can do your part to help our vegetation staff keep your lights on. If you see a tree or branch that looks dangerously close to power lines, you can report it by calling 1-800-368-3749 (1-800-ENTERGY).

We do not prune or remove trees that appear to threaten individual service lines. They are the power lines that run directly between a customer’s home or business and a nearby transformer. These lines are insulated, and are less vulnerable to trees.

But a falling tree or heavy branch can damage a service line. To remove trees affecting your service line, please hire a tree-trimming contractor to perform the work. If requested, we will disconnect the service line so the contractor can work safely.
